Android Wear based Samsung Gear Live smartwatch to be launched at July 7

Few days back, we say a report that Samsung would soon launch its Android Wear based smartwatch at the Google I/O event and the news turns out to be pretty much with the reports. The smartwatch is likely to break covers today at the Google I/O event and is rumored to be named as Gear Live. The device is reported to break covers in the international market on July 7th.

The Samsung Gear Live is rumored to have a 1.63inch AMOLED display with 1.2GHZ processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a 300mAh of battery life. The smartwatch is also considered to have a built-in heart rate monitor inside it.

In addition to this, Gear Live is likely to come with several Google apps like Google Now, Hangouts, Gmail, Maps etc. The price of the device hasn’t been unveiled yet but we expect it to be giving a tough competition to Moto 360 and LG’s G Watch.
