It seems that the trend of large size display smartwatches is soon to start. Rufus Cuff has started this trend and has come out with its own smartwatch with a 3inch display. The smartwatch is very smartly engineering and offers oodles of features apart from just time, caller ID and notifications. Proudly described as the world’s first communicator, it offers similar features to an Android smartphone like browsing the web, placing calls, sending messages and run full apps from the Google Play Store.

The Rufus Cuff offers a 3inch TFT Capacitive touchscreen with 400×320 QVGA resolution, Texas Instrument Cortex A8 processor, 16GB storage, front-facing camera, Android KitKat 4.4, LED alerts and Flash, Multi language support, spill and splash resistant, 1000mAh rechargeable battery, accelerometer, 6-axis gyroscope, vibration alert, Speaker and Microphone and other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and much more.
The engineers at the Rufus Labs have been working for more than a year and the company has itself started a campaign at Indiegogo to gather enough funds for completion of the device. Rufus target to achieve $2,50,000 with $31,139 been already raised and 33 more days left in the campaign.
The device is still in concepts and will take a few moths more for a prototype release. Upon release, the device will offer Android interface giving access to Google Play Store. You can even support the device with a $229 donation that allows you to own your own Rufus Cuff. The device is expected to arrive in September.
