Well, this was soon to be expected as with Samsung pitching up two more smart wearable devices- Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, the competition in this segment has raised further. Qualcomm has declared that it has slashed the price of its Qualcomm Toq by nearly $100. With this, the new price for the Toq would be $249.99.
This is still more compared to the competitor Pebble which is at the moment the most selling smartwatch in the market. But the advantage with Qualcomm is that it has a Mirasol color display which consumes less battery juice providing a backup of nearly 2-3 days.
Qualcomm Toq is compatible with all Android smartphones running Androd 4.0.3 and above. Moreover even functionality wise the smartwatch is a good performing device. The limited edition variant is also in stock at the moment.
